Mekong Delta, HCMC, Vietnam

The Mekong Delta (Vietnamese: Long “Nine Dragon river delta”) is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries. The Mekong delta region encompasses a large portion of southeastern Vietnam of 39,000 square kilometres (15,000 sq mi). The size of the area covered by water depends on the season.

1 day tour of the Mekong Delta, Vietnam on 14/02/2009. 70km from HCMC and took 2 and half an hour by van. Nie lah jeti Memkong River. Kul 11am aku sampai sini. Cuaca panas tapi udara bila menaiki bot tu sejukkk...

Salah satu tempat rehat seblm meneruskn perjalanan ke Mekong River. Penat gak bontot dok lelama dlm van tuuuu... Beli watermelon juice n kacang ajerrr...


Nie lah bot yg aku naik. 6 org ajer t'msk aku n hubby, 3 org mat salleh n sorang tourist guide. Lama dh tk naik bot. Last naik masa gie Tmn Negara Pahang thn 2007.


Menyusuri Mekong River, then stop kt fruit farm.

Bee Farm... dia bagi minum green tea + honey + limau nipis.... sedap nyerr. 3 kali aku tambah. nasib lahhh... preeee maaaa...


Nie lah green tea yg dicampur ngan madu n limau nipis.



Dry Candy... biji teratai, kelapa, kacang, pisang, halia n apa entah yg lagi satu tuuu... sumer aku belasah ajerrr..



Pastu tengak perusahaan membuat coconut candy. Nie lah perjalanan yg harus aku lalui ke tempat buat coconut candy tuuu...


jeng... jeng... jengggggg....akhir nyer sampai ke tempat pemprosesan coconut candy


mcm2 rasa aderrr.... pandan, coklat, nut, strawberry dll


aku tak beli pun... korang tgk lahhh... dia packed tk pakai sarung tanganentah2 baru lepas garu bontot, pastu pegang candy tuuu... heheheee...



Aku menyusuri sungai yg kecil dgn kiri kanan nya pokok2 nipah kotttt.... then lunch kt situ bermenu kan iguana, snake, squirrel, eel, turtle n mcm2 lagi lahhhh... korang leh pilih jenis masakan yg korang nakkk spt roasted, steamed, curried, fried, stewed n mcm2 lahhh...


Kesian tgk tukg kayuh tuuu...cuaca panas sikit n majoriti tukg kayuh tu pompuan n ader yg dh tuaaaa...sian tgk dia org nk cari duit seciput tapi keja kuat can mieee...korang kalo naik, bagi lah sikit tips... aku bagi USD1, senyum sampai ke telinga org tuuu...


Lunch timeee... adoi lapo nyer perut aku nie. Tour nie provided ngan lunch. Mesti sedap... tapi nie ajer yg leh aku makan (halal food). Rasa sedih sgttt... Aper nk buat, makan ajer lahhh...

Ada gak menu lain yg leh kita order.... terkejut beruk aku bila tgk menu nieeee.... Terus aku letak tepi menu tu takut kang tk leh makan nasi pulakkk...

Lepas dh makan, cycling time...syiok jugak. lama tk mengayuh basikal nie...masuk kg, keluar kg,masuk pekan, keluar pekan berpeluh gak lahhhh... tapi yg sedih nyer nie... punyalah sakit bontot akuu maklum lahhh... bontot selalu dok kt kerusi empuk ajerr...

Tamat lah sudah trip aku ke Mekong Delta. Pastu amik bot n balik semula ke jeti. Badan penat gilerrr... aku membuta ajer sepjg perjalanan balik ke hotel. Yg kelako nyerrr... bila nampak kedai2, terus segar mata aku nie... :)
